ADOPTION Timeline Update

I am just posting our current timeline in our adoption process!   We are about to send all of our documents to China! (DTC)  Dossier to China.  When that happens we will have about a 2 month wait until our next big step which would be our (LOA) Letter of Acceptance.  We hope to Travel to our son in the next 6 months or so... which would be Feb.-March 2015.  That time cannot get here quick enough, but sadly there is a lot of waiting~  Please pray that our wait for LOA would be quick.  Averages are running around 70 days so anything sooner would be a tremendous blessing.  We want to be united with sweet Eli as soon as possible.  We know what the statistics are for our wait.. but we are asking for God to bless our process and speed up our timeline! 

February 2014 - Made the decision to adopt again
03/03/14 - Submitted application to CCAI
03/03/14 - Initiated our Home Study process with Grace International Adoptions
03/23/14 - First Home Study Visit Completed
04/06/14 - Second Home Study Visit Complete

06/03/14  –Found Eli Yi Ming!
07/24/14 - Finalized Home Study Report completed
07/24/14 - Immigration Application mailed to USCIS
07/31/14 - USCIS received our Immigration application

08/01/14 –submitted LOI (Letter of Intent) for Eli !  (had to wait for my 30^th bday)
08/10/14 - Fingerprint appointment date and time received
08/15/14  - Fingerprint appointment at USCIS

08/19/14  - Received PA for Eli (PA- preliminary Approval from China)
09/05/14  - I-797 Approval - Allows us to bring a child into the US
09/16/14  - State Authentications (last document complete)

09/24/14   - Chinese Consulate Authentication (last document complete)

09/24/14   - Sent last Dossier document to CCAI (I-797 approval)
               - Dossier to China (DTC)
               - Log In Date (LID)  (usually takes 2-3months for next step LOA)
               - Out of Translation (OOT)
               - Dossier Reviewed
               - Dossier Match Reviewed
               - Letter of Acceptance (LOA)
               - I-800 Approval (Immigration Application for our son)
               - National Visa Center - GUZ # PDF
               - Article 5 Drop Off
               - Article 5 Pick Up
               - Travel Approval (TA)
               - Depart for China
               - Meet our child!
               - Adoption Finalized
               - Consulate Appointment
